Scenes from the Concert for Truth; Tees of the times

The campus was showing signs of activity when we arrived shortly before six. We had not been to the Ateneo grounds since Josh graduated from the High School last year. It was a good time to come back.
We were there for the Concert for Truth put together by Team RP and other student institutions from the Ateneo. On EDSA Day, we wanted to have a feel of what's going on in the streets and in the hearts of many, without having to go to EDSA itself.

The activities started when everyone spilled out onto the streets to encourage passing cars to blow their horns. A noise barrage ensued, echoing all over Katipunan Road. It was amazing to hear a monotone chorus of honking from vehicles of all sizes.

As the horns died down, bands began to perform. The highlight of the evening was Noel Cabangon's performance of Bayan ko, as everyone raised his fist and sang with him.

The event showcased the Pinoy's creativity in conveying both disgust at greed and support for truth.
But of course, the most honest sentiments were best expressed when worn by the Pinoy himself.
